Tata Motors is exploring opportunities to open a car assembly plant in Indonesia supercheap Tata Nano. Besides Indonesia, the manufacturer from India will also build a plant in Eastern Europe and Brazil.
This information was announced Chairman of Tata Nano, Ratan Tata, the annual general meeting of shareholders to 66 in Mumbai on Friday. "We will maximize penetration of the vehicle such as the Tata Ace and the Tata Nano in different geographical," Tata said, as quoted by the news pages of DNA India, Saturday, August 13, 2011.
